As the days passed, their shared life increasingly started to resemble that of a cohabiting couple. By the time he arrived, Akane was already home. Wearing her school uniform with an apron over it, she was in the middle of cooking dinner. After the meal, while eating dessert, Akane gets teased by Ken: “You’re gonna get fat if you keep eating like that.” Hearing something she was already a little self-conscious about pointed out so directly, Akane starts seriously thinking about going on a diet.
